About
I like to describe myself as a neurodivergent creative living in the abstract of her own inner musings. I'm a self-diagnosed, high masking, AuDHD woman. For those who might not be familiar with those terms, I'm both ADHD and Autistic, and I unconsciously learned from a young age how to appear “typical” enough to blend in with my peers. I say that I'm self-diagnosed because after going through the grueling evaluation process I was told that I have clinically significant traits but I wasn't enough of either to be diagnosed. For me, though it was still worth the ordeal. I learned so much about myself and why I had been struggling to live my life for so long.
Creating brings me pure abundant joy and also helps me regulate my overstimulated nervous system. As an AuDHDer I have a plethora of ideas and thoughts which I can manifest into some unique, dare I say good, artwork and writing. The flipside is that I can also get so overstimulated by myself and the world around me that I have to take breaks sometimes.
If you've read this far thank you, fellow muser!
